Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital (GTBH), Delhi has announced recruitment for Senior Resident Doctors on an ad-hoc basis. This is a chance for eligible candidates to join the hospital in various departments.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the Senior Resident Doctor positions.

Educational Qualification

The required qualification is a Post Graduate Degree/DNB/PG Diploma in the relevant field. If such candidates are not available, MBBS with 3 years of experience in the relevant field may be considered.

Candidates must also have a valid DMC registration certificate at the time of interview. If not yet registered, they must have applied for DMC registration with proper acknowledgement and submit the details at the time of interview. Those who have applied for DMC registration must submit the valid certificate within 45 days of joining.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 45 years as on the interview date. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories:

• SC/ST candidates: 05 years relaxation
• OBC candidates: 03 years relaxation

Application Fee

An application fee of Rs. 500/- is required for UR and OBC candidates. This fee must be paid via Demand Draft favouring "PAO-VIII GNCT of Delhi". The Demand Draft should be issued on or after the advertisement date.

SC/ST/PH/EWS category candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a salary of Rs. 67,700/- per month in Pay Level 11, plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other admissible allowances as per rules.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on an Interview. Candidates are required to report for the interview with all necessary original certificates and self-attested photocopies.

Important Instructions

• The ad-hoc tenure is for 44 days, extendable.
• Candidates who have completed 03 years of senior residency may also apply under a relaxed criteria for a one-year ad-hoc basis. A separate merit list will be prepared for fresh candidates and those who have completed 3 years.
• OBC candidates must submit a caste certificate issued by the Competent Authority of GNCT of Delhi. Outside Delhi OBC candidates will be treated as UR.
• Preference will be given to candidates with life-saving course certificates (BLS and ATLS/ACLS or Equivalent Course).
• Applicants must report to the Skill Lab, 3rd Floor, Administration Block, GTB Hospital, Delhi at the scheduled time on the interview date for attendance and submission of documents.
• No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
• Inter Hospital/Inter Institutional transfer is not permitted.
• Selected candidates must report for duty within the prescribed period.
