Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following conditions to be eligible for the Junior Resident (Dental) post:

• Qualification: BDS Degree from a recognized University/Institute.
• DDC Registration: Candidates must be registered with the Delhi Dental Council (DDC) at the time of application. Alternatively, they must have applied for DDC registration or hold a valid inter-state or intra-state registration with any State Dental Council. Those with inter-state/intra-state registration must transfer it to DDC upon job offer.
• Internship: Candidates who completed their internship before 30 September 2024 (i.e., more than two years before the interview date) are not eligible.
• NEET (PG-MDS) 2026: Candidates who have qualified or appeared for NEET (PG-MDS) 2026 will be called for an interview.
• Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit

The age eligibility is as of 30 September 2026. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be as per Government of India instructions.

Application Fee

A prescribed fee of Rs. 500/- must be paid in the form of a Bank Draft. The draft should be in original, drawn in favour of "PAO-VIII GNCT of Delhi" and payable at New Delhi, issued by a Delhi Bank Branch.

• Exempted Categories: SC/ST/PwD/EWS candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
• Refund: The application fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive emoluments as per Pay Level 10 (Index-1).

Salary: Rs. 56,100/- per month, plus NPA and other admissible allowances.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a merit basis. There will be a weightage of 50% for the NEET (PG-MDS) 2026 rank and 50% for the interview performance.

Important Instructions

• SC/ST certificates must be issued by the Revenue Authorities as per government norms.
• EWS candidates must submit an Income & Assets certificate issued by the authorities as per DoPT guidelines for the relevant period.
• Appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of all educational qualification, age, caste, and DDC registration certificates.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the recruitment process.
• In case of any legal dispute, the jurisdiction will be Delhi/New Delhi only.
