Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements to be eligible for the Scientific Officer post.
Educational Qualification- At least a 2nd class M.Sc. degree in Forensic Science (with specialization/dissertation work/course work/project work in the field of Chemical Sciences).
- OR At least a 2nd class M.Sc. degree in Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry/ Pharmacy/ M.S.(Pharm.)/ M. Pharm. from a recognized University.
- Minimum three (03) years of post-qualification experience in Research, Training, and Analytical Work within the specified subjects.
- Ph.D. Degree in one of the relevant subjects.
- Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for engagement in peculiar conditions.
- Candidates dismissed from previous Government/Semi-Government service.
- Candidates convicted of offences involving moral turpitude.
- Un-discharged insolvents.
