The recruitment is for one position of Project Assistant under the project titled "Scalable Algal-Methanotrophs Formulations for Carbon Capture and GHGS Mitigation in Coastal Agricultural Systems" (EAP-471).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be considered for the Project Assistant post.
Educational QualificationCandidates should have one of the following qualifications:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture.
- OR B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany / Microbiology / Environmental Science / Biotechnology / Geography / GIS and Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics / Chemistry.
The maximum age limit for candidates is 50 years as on the date of the interview. Age relaxations for SC, ST, and OBC candidates will be as per Government of India norms.
Salary
The selected candidate will receive a remuneration of Rs. 20,000/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).
An increment of 15% for every 3 years of experience is applicable, with a maximum ceiling of 4 such revisions, allowing for up to 12 years of experience.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a walk-in interview. Candidates are advised to bring all necessary documents. If a large number of candidates appear, a screening test may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.
Preference may be given to candidates with work experience in ICAR institutes.
