Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the educational qualifications and age limits for the respective posts.

• Young Professional-I (YP-I): B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture / Botany / Biotechnology / Environmental Science / Microbiology / Molecular Biology. Experience in soil, plant, and water analysis work in the lab and field experimentation, and preparation of scientific/technical reports/papers is desirable.
• Field Assistant (FA): Matriculation with +2 Vocational in an Agricultural related subject OR Diploma in an Agricultural related subject. Alternatively, Matriculation with two (02) years of working experience in agricultural-related field work from a reputed organization. Experience in agricultural field-related work/laboratory work is desirable.

The age limits are as of the date of the interview:

Age relaxations are applicable for SC, ST, and OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.

Selection Process

The selection will be based on a walk-in interview. This interview may include a written test to shortlist candidates if a large number appear. Candidates with work experience in ICAR institutes may be given preference.

• Original educational certificates (from Matriculation onwards) along with a Xerox copy.

Important Instructions

• The positions are purely temporary and will end when the project finishes or the contract period ends, whichever is sooner. Appointed candidates will not have any right to be absorbed in ICAR-CRRI/ICAR.
• Candidates currently employed must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview.
• No TA (Travel Allowance) or DA (Dearness Allowance) will be provided for attending the interview.
• Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
• Candidates must report strictly by the scheduled reporting time. Latecomers will not be entertained.
• The Director, ICAR-CRRI, reserves the right to modify the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process.
