Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be considered for the Young Professional-II position.
Educational QualificationEssential Qualification: Postgraduate degree (M.Sc) in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Genetics & Plant Breeding / Agricultural Botany.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in hybridization in wheat, DNA isolation, handling of PCR machine, field/lab experimentations, disease screening, molecular cyto-genetic techniques, data analysis, documentation, and compilation of reports.
Age LimitMinimum age: 21 years
Maximum age: 45 years
Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.
Salary
The selected candidate will receive a fixed emolument of ₹42,000 per month. No House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided.
Selection Process
Applications will be screened to shortlist eligible candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be informed via email to attend a physical interview. Original documents will be verified during the interview.

Important Instructions

- No TA/DA or any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.
- Candidates with relatives employed in ICAR/IARI must declare this in Annexure-II.
- Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Shimla.
