Vacancy Details

IIEST Shibpur is recruiting for one (1) Research Associate position. This post is for a specific project titled "Development of an Underwater Rock Drilling and Controlled Blasting Methodology for Deepening /Widening of Interface area for the project Interface works - Dredging and revetment," sponsored by Cemindia Projects Limited.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the educational and age requirements to be eligible for this Research Associate post.

Educational Qualification
  • Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mining Engineering with a relevant specialization.
  • A minimum of 60% marks or 6 CGPA on a 10-point scale in B.E./B.Tech is required.
  • Additionally, candidates must hold a PhD in a relevant specialization.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience in underwater rock blasting research.
  • Experience in handling field projects.
Age Limit
  • The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years.

Salary / Pay Scale

The selected Research Associate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 1,25,000/- per month.
