Vacancy Details

There is one vacancy for the post of Research Assistant. The position is available for two distinct research projects.

• Project 1: Entrepreneurs' survival and resilience in economic crisis: Role of family's past experience in Product market and Capital Market.
• Project 2: SARBAT-GIG: Socioeconomic, Algorithmic, Risk & Benefits Assessment and Transition of Platform Work in Punjab.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for the Research Assistant position.

A Bachelor's Degree with an excellent academic record is required. The degree should be in one of the following disciplines:

• Management
• Economics
• Statistics
• Psychology
• Sociology
• Public Policy
• Commerce
• Engineering
• Data Analytics
• Related disciplines

For the SARBAT-GIG project, candidates with a BBA/MBA qualification will be preferred.

The upper age limit for candidates is not exceeding 35 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

Experience

A minimum of 0-2 years of experience is required. Candidates with at least one year of experience will be preferred for Project 1. For Project 2, candidates with a BBA/MBA qualification will be preferred.

Salary / Pay Scale

The remuneration for the Research Assistant position is consolidated and project-based.

• For Project 1: ₹25,000/- per month
• For Project 2: ₹18,000/- per month

Selection Process

Applications received will be screened. Shortlisted candidates may be called for a Personal Interview or any other selection method decided by the Institute.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection process.
