Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields from a recognized Institute/University.

Ph.D. scholars who have submitted their thesis are also eligible to apply. However, they must submit their provisional or degree certificate within six months from the date of appointment. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the appointment.

Age Limit

Preference will be given to candidates below 35 years of age as on the last date of application submission.

Fellowship / Salary

Selected candidates will receive a fellowship of Rs. 67,000/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per Institute rules.

Candidates who have submitted their thesis but are awaiting their Ph.D. Degree or provisional degree will receive a reduced fellowship of Rs. 35,000/- per month plus HRA. Upon submission of the Ph.D. degree, the full fellowship of Rs. 67,000/- plus HRA will be restored from the award date.

• Selected IPDFs are expected to assist in teaching course(s) besides their research work.
