Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Indian nationals.

Educational Qualification

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. degree in Chemistry.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of a Ph.D. degree can also apply.
• Evidence of having conducted high-quality research during or after their Ph.D. program.
• Experience in organic synthesis and/or Natural product synthesis is desirable.

Age Limit

Preferably not more than 40 years as on the closing date of the advertisement.

Fellowship (Salary)

• Rs. 58,000 /- p.m. + 10% HRA: If the candidate produces the Ph.D. Certificate.
• Rs. 42,000 /- p.m. + 10% HRA: For candidates whose Ph.D. degree is awaited. In this case, the candidate must provide a letter from a competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email for an interview. The interview is tentatively scheduled for 21st September, 2026, and will be conducted online.

IISER Tirupati may restrict the number of candidates for the interview based on qualifications and experience beyond the minimum prescribed, if a large number of applications are received.
