Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be of Indian nationality.

Educational Qualification

The required qualifications for the Junior Research Fellow post are:

• Post Graduate Degree in basic science with NET qualification.
• OR Graduate Degree in a professional course with NET qualification.
• OR Post Graduate Degree with a professional course.

Note on NET/GATE: The requirement of NET/GATE examination may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).

Relaxation: 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST Candidates.

Age Limit

Salary / Pay Scale

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 37,000/- per month

Additional Allowance: HRA @ 27%

The appointment is on a contractual basis with a consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Candidates already employed at the Institute/IRD must submit their applications through the proper channel, duly forwarded by their concerned establishment/sections.
