Eligibility Criteria
Junior Research Fellow (JRF)- Educational Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Physics/Photonics OR 1st class B.E./B.Tech. in Engineering Physics/Optical/Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/ Computer Science and Engineering.
- Mandatory Examination: Must have qualified a national-level examination like GATE, UGC-NET, or equivalent, as per applicable DRDO/DST norms for JRF award.
- Desirable Experience: Hands-on experience in spectroscopic instrumentation and relevant exposure to characterization techniques used in Raman spectroscopy.
- Relaxation for CFTI Graduates: The requirement of NET/GATE examination may be relaxed for candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics/Optical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/Instrumentation Engineering/ Computer Science, or a related field.
- Desirable Experience: Sound understanding of lasers and photodetectors (CCD/CMOS, ICCD, APD, SPADs). Hands-on experience in spectroscopic instrumentation. At least two research papers published in SCI-indexed journals. Experience in writing research papers, technical reports, and patents.
Note: 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates.
