Candidates should have completed a B.Tech. or B.E. degree in one of the following fields:

• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Materials Science Engineering
• Materials Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Physics Engineering
• Applied Physics Engineering

A minimum CGPA of 7.0 out of 10 or 70% is required. Additionally, a valid GATE scorecard is mandatory.
