Vacancy Details

IIT Roorkee is looking to fill 03 vacancies for the post of Project Officer (Clinical Psychologist).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and experience requirements to be eligible for the Project Officer position.

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have an M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology or an equivalent qualification. The degree should be from a university or institute recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India. Candidates must also possess a valid and active CRR (Central Rehabilitation Council registration).

Experience

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required after completing the M.Phil. degree. Relevant experience includes clinical experience in group and individual counselling in an educational institution or a reputed mental health care clinic. Experience in handling psychiatric emergencies is also considered relevant.

Desirable Experience

Preference may be given to candidates with experience in Biofeedback or Neurofeedback Therapy with youth, de-addiction services, marital and family counselling, queer-affirmative mental health practice, behavioral addiction management, and trauma-focused psychotherapy. A Fellowship in Mental Health from a reputed institution or a PhD in Clinical Psychology is also desirable.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for applicants is 45 years, including any age relaxation applicable.

Salary and Remuneration

The selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration ranging from Rs. 70,000/- to Rs. 80,000/-, plus HRA. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience.

Selection Process

Candidates will be shortlisted based on their applications. Only shortlisted candidates will be informed via email for an interview. Original documents will be verified at the time of the interview.

Note: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
