Eligibility Criteria

- Project Associate - I: A four-year Bachelor’s degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences or Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent. Alternatively, candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and defended it, awaiting the award of the degree. Desirable: Background in QMP, Computational Physics.
- Project Technical Assistant [Level-II]: Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a reputed college/institution approved by Government / Board of Technical Education / AICTE. Must have a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in the operation and maintenance of 11 kV/433 V electrical substations and associated systems. A Valid Electrical Supervisor Competency Certificate (C-License) issued by CEIG, Govt. is required. Desirable: Working knowledge of Linux, AutoCAD and LibreOffice.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for all posts is 40 years. Age relaxation will be provided as per government rules.
Salary / Stipend
The monthly salary for the posts is as follows:
- Project Associate - I: Rs. 31,500/- per month
- Research Associate - I: Rs. 73,500/- per month (or Rs. 53,000/- per month)
- Project Technical Assistant [Level-II]: Rs. 32,500/- per month
Candidates with higher qualifications like CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, JAM or equivalent may be eligible for higher remuneration for the Project Associate - I post.
