Educational Qualifications and Eligibility

Candidates must meet the following educational criteria for the respective posts:

• Graduate Apprentice: Must hold a Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.
• Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA): Must have completed Matriculation and possess an ITI Certificate affiliated to NCVT/SCVT, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.

Other Mandatory Condition: Applicants must be comfortable and interested in working at IRCTC offices located in Kolkata, Guwahati, Patna, Howrah, Sealdah, Asansol, New Jalpaiguri, Ranchi, or Tatanagar.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The age criteria are as of 09 October 2026:

• Minimum Age: 15 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years

Age relaxation will be provided as per Government of India guidelines:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC candidates: 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen candidates: 10 years
• Differently abled candidates: 10 years
