About NewSpace India Limited (NSIL)
NewSpace India Limited (NSIL) is a wholly-owned Government of India Central Public Sector Enterprise. It was established under the Companies Act to commercially use the research and development work carried out by ISRO Centres and constituent units of the Department of Space. NSIL aims to help Indian industry develop its high-technology manufacturing and production base to support the growing demands of the Indian Space Programme. Job Description and Responsibilities
The Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) serves as the Chief Executive of NewSpace India Limited and reports directly to the Board of Directors. The CMD holds responsibility for all activities and operations of the company, including human resources, financial and commercial management, corporate planning, and project implementation. This role is crucial for ensuring the organization's effectiveness in achieving its goals and objectives, particularly in the performance and supervision of the company's technical, administrative, and daily operations, as well as its long-term growth.

- Preference will be given to candidates who have a Graduation in Engineering/Science or/and an MBA/Two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration/Business Management.
- The applicant must possess adequate technical, operational, or project management experience at a senior level in an organization of repute.
- High standards of integrity and an impeccable reputation are essential for this position.
Pay Scale and Allowances
The scale of the post for Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) is based on the IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance) pattern. In addition to the basic pay, the CMD will be eligible for Industrial Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Superannuation Benefits, and other allowances as admissible.
