Educational Qualifications and Eligibility
Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications and experience requirements for each post. Higher qualifications in the same subject are accepted in place of a prescribed degree. All qualifications and experience must be held as of the notification date, 08 October 2026.
- Project Coordinator: Post graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Child Development, Human Rights, Public Administration, Psychology, Psychiatry, Law, Public Health or Community Resource Management from a recognised University. Alternatively, a degree in one of these subjects with 2 years of work experience in project formulation, implementation, monitoring, or supervision, preferably in women and child development or social welfare. Proficiency in computers is mandatory.
- Counsellor: Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health or Counselling from a recognised University, or a post-graduate diploma in Counselling and Communication. A minimum of 1 year of work experience with a Government or non-Government organisation, preferably in women and child development, is required. Proficiency in computers is mandatory.
- Child Helpline Supervisor: Degree, preferably B.A., in Social Work, Computer Science, Information Technology, Community Sociology or Social Sciences from a recognised University. Weightage will be given for experience. Proficiency in computers is mandatory.
- Case Worker: Pass in Class XII from a recognised Board or its equivalent. Good communication skills are essential. Weightage will be given for experience. Proficiency in computers is mandatory.
Important Note on Experience: Experience will only be counted if the certificate clearly shows the post held, dates of joining and relieving, and is supported by an appointment order and proof of payment (bank statement, pay slips, or EPF record). Field work, project work, or internships done as a student, and voluntary service, will not be counted. Certificates from NGOs must include the organisation's registration number and NGO Darpan ID, if applicable. All certificates will be verified with the issuing authority.
Age Limit and Relaxation
Applicants must have completed 21 years of age and not have completed 35 years of age as of 01 October 2026.

Selection Process
The selection process will consist of a written examination followed by an oral test on the same day. The final selection list will be declared on the day of the examination.
- Written Examination:
- For Project Coordinator, Counsellor, and Child Helpline Supervisor (Sl.No. 1 to 3): 200 objective questions in English, to be completed in 90 minutes. Part A will have 100 common questions, and Part B will have 100 questions specific to the post.
- For Case Worker (Sl.No. 4): 100 objective questions in English and Telugu, to be completed in 60 minutes.
- Each question carries one mark. A penalty of one-fourth (1/4) mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unanswered questions will not incur any deduction. Answers will be marked on an OMR sheet.
- Weightage for Experience (Child Helpline Supervisor & Case Worker): Two marks will be awarded for each completed year of paid work in child protection or an emergency helpline, up to a maximum of ten marks.
- Oral Test: Candidates will be assessed on five questions, with each answer marked out of five by the Selection Committee. The oral test carries 25 marks.
- Tie-Breaking Criteria: In case of a tie in total marks, preference will be given to candidates with paid work experience in an emergency helpline, followed by higher marks in the written examination, and then by older age.
The key for the written examination will be displayed at the venue at 12:00 PM on the examination day, with objections accepted until 12:45 PM. Results of the written examination will be displayed at 2:00 PM, followed by the oral test and verification of original certificates for eligible candidates.
