Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the essential educational qualifications and age limit to be considered for the Assistant Professor post.

Applicants should have a Master's Degree in the concerned discipline (Horticulture) with a minimum of 55% marks and NET qualification. Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Floriculture and Landscaping or M.Sc. (Horticulture) in Floriculture and Landscaping. If candidates with these specific qualifications are not available, those with a Master's degree in other disciplines of Horticultural Sciences will be considered.

Salary / Pay Scale

Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 1470/- per day

The selected candidate will have no claim in the University other than receiving the remuneration attached to the post. The appointment will not confer any right of permanency or regularization in KAU.
