Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Candidates must be IRSEE officers who have completed a minimum of 5 years of Railway service and are currently working in JAG/SS.
• Required experience includes service in design, planning, construction, and execution of Railway Electrification projects (RE).
• Experience in Operation & Maintenance of power supply installations, OHE, and RC equipment is also necessary.
• Maintenance and operation of electric locomotives and electric multiple unit (EMU) stocks outside the electric loco shed, train operation, and crew management are relevant experiences.
• Experience in maintenance and operation of Electric Locos based in the shed, or Electrical General Services in Indian Railway/PSUs/Metro is also considered.
• Candidates must possess knowledge of relevant specifications, including Railway Board & RDSO, and other applicable codes and specifications.

Age Limit

Candidates must be below 50 years of age as on the date of the notification.

Salary and Pay Scale

The post offers pay as JAG/SS, as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-12 or Level-11. Officers will draw pay and allowances as per DOPT instructions, plus deputation (duty) allowance.

Selection Process

Important Instructions

• Applications of officers working in Zonal Railways/PSUs for deputation to Railway PSUs/Autonomous Bodies and all other Organizations will be forwarded with the approval of the Competent Authority in the Ministry.
• KRCL will consider applications only from those officers whose applications are forwarded by the Railway Board.
• Retention of Railway accommodation is permissible as per Board's guidelines issued from time to time during the deputation tenure in KRCL.
• KRCL has been permitted exemption from the rule of immediate absorption up to 31/12/2026.
• The term of deputation is 3 years, which is the normal term and is extendable up to five (05) years.
