Eligibility

For Professor: To be eligible for the Professor post, you must hold a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline. You should also have a strong record of published work, including a minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals, and a total research score of 120. Alternatively, you need at least ten years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor in a university/college, or equivalent research experience at national-level institutions, with proven success in guiding doctoral candidates.

For Associate Professor: Candidates for the Associate Professor position need a good academic record, a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned discipline, and a Master's Degree with at least 55% marks. Additionally, you must have a minimum of eight years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic/research role equivalent to an Assistant Professor in a University, College, or Accredited Research Institution/industry. This also requires a minimum of seven publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of 75.

For Assistant Professor: For the Assistant Professor post, a Master's degree with 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject is mandatory. You must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar UGC-accredited test like SLET/SET. Exemptions from NET/SLET/SET apply if you have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations of 2009 or 2016 and their amendments. Another exemption is for candidates with a Ph.D. degree from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking.
