Minimum 5 years' experience in manuscript preservation & conservation, proven team leadership ability, and computer skills. Formal training in Manuscript and Art object Conservation (minimum six months) from a reputed National-level institution like NRLC is required.
• Assistant Conservator: Bachelor's Degree in Science (with Chemistry at Graduation Level) OR Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts/Visual Arts, OR Bachelor's Degree in Art Conservation / History/ Archaeology / Museology / or equivalent subject.
• Script & Language Expert: Master's Degree in Sanskrit/ Pali/ Prakrit/ History/Urdu/Persian or any language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution. Expertise in at least one language and script (e.g., Brahmi, Sarada, Grantha, Bengali, Odiya, Telugu, Tamil). At least 5 years of experience in script reading, decoding, translation, and editing. Capability for editorial and documentation support.
