Vacancy Details
NHAI is looking to fill one (01) vacancy for the post of Draftsman.
Note: The number of posts may increase or decrease as per NHAI's requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and experience requirements:
Educational Qualification:- Passed a recognized High School Examination and possess a Draftsman ITI Certificate Course; OR
- Possess a Diploma in Civil Engineering; OR
- Hold a Graduate degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software is essential.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting drawings of structures, tunnels, etc., is required.
Note: All qualifications must be acquired from Indian Universities/Institutes recognized by UGC or AICTE (whichever is applicable) or any other appropriate statutory authority in India.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates applying for the Draftsman post is 45 years as of the last date for submission of applications.
Remuneration
The selected candidate will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 75,000/-.
An annual increment of 5% of the previous year's remuneration will be granted from January 1st or July 1st each year, provided the service continues without a break for at least 06 months.
TA/DA will be admissible during site visits, equivalent to that of an Assistant Manager, NHAI.
Selection Process
The selection process will involve the following stages:
- Scrutiny and Shortlisting: All applications received will be reviewed and shortlisted by a Scrutiny/Screening Committee based on the prescribed eligibility and other conditions.
- Interview: The Scrutiny/Screening Committee will recommend a list of eligible candidates for an interview by the Interview/Selection Committee. The number of candidates to be interviewed will be decided by the Scrutiny/Screening Committee.
Mere submission of an application does not guarantee a candidate will be called for selection.
