Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specific educational qualifications and age limits for each post as on the closing date for receipt of applications.

Educational Qualification
  • Scientist B: M.V.Sc/M.Sc/M.Tech or an equivalent degree from a recognized University. Candidates must have an outstanding academic and publication record, along with 3 years of R&D experience in any of NIAB's thrust areas.
  • Farm Manager:
    • Essential: Graduation in Animal Husbandry / Horticulture or a Master's degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 50% marks.
    • Desirable: Experience in handling herds of farm and large animals, including their day-to-day upkeep, in research organizations or reputed farms.
Age Limit

The age limit is calculated as on the closing date for receiving applications (11 September 2026).

  • Scientist B: Maximum 35 years
  • Farm Manager: Maximum 30 years

Selected candidates will receive salary as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) recommendations:

Selection Process

The selection process for NIAB Recruitment 2026 will involve the following stages:

  2. Register on the website using a valid email ID to create a username and password. If already registered, log in with existing credentials.
  3.
