Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following essential and desirable qualifications and age requirements.

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

• B.Tech in Biotechnology
• OR M.Sc / M.Tech in Life Science / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Nanoscience / Biomedical / Molecular Biology
• OR Ph.D. Candidate (N-PDF)

Additionally, candidates should possess proven bench experience in biosensors and/or Immunoassays and/or nanoscience and/or analytical technique/POCT work. Specific experience requirements include hands-on experience with protein expression systems, affinity chromatography, size-exclusion, and dialysis/ultrafiltration. Experience with synthesis of nanoparticles & bio-conjugation, immunization protocols, hybridoma technique or recombinant antibody engineering and screening, ELISA and LFIA development and assay validation, and basic statistics for assay performance are also required. Familiarity with animal ethics approvals and safe handling, when applicable, is desirable.

Age Limit

Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India rules.
