Vacancy Details
The recruitment is for two types of Project Technical Support positions:
- Project Technical Support-III: One position
- Project Technical Support-I: One position
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications and experience for each post.
Project Technical Support-III- Educational Qualification: Three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject plus three years of post-qualification experience OR a Post Graduate (PG) degree in a relevant subject.
- Desirable Qualification: A Post Graduate Degree with research experience in laboratory settings.
- Job Description Requirements: Hands-on experience in cell culture and molecular biology (including RNA isolation, quantitative real-time PCR, and western blotting) and animal handling is mandatory. Candidates with animal handling experience will be preferred.
- Educational Qualification: 10th pass with a Diploma (MLT/DMLT/ITI or equivalent) plus two years of experience in the relevant subject.
- Job Description Requirements: Hands-on experience in cell culture and molecular biology (including RNA isolation, quantitative real-time PCR, and western blotting) and animal handling is mandatory.

Application Fee
A demand draft of Rs. 100/- is required. This draft should be drawn on Canara Bank or Indian Bank, payable at Delhi/New Delhi, in favour of the Director, NII. Payment can also be made through UPI/Paytm/Phone Pe etc. to the specified bank account.
Exemptions: Women and SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from paying the application fee, provided they submit documentary proof at the time of the interview.
Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive consolidated emoluments based on their qualifications and experience:
- Project Technical Support-III: Rs. 28,000/- per month plus 30% HRA
- Project Technical Support-I: Rs. 18,000/- per month plus 30% HRA
(As per Funding agency norms)
Selection Process
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interviews will be held in offline mode only.
