Eligibility Criteria
Educational QualificationCandidates must have a B.Tech degree along with an M.Tech degree in one of the following fields:
- Food Process Engineering
- Food Engineering and Technology
- Food Technology
- Processing and Food Engineering
- Agricultural Process Engineering
- Post Harvest Engineering
- Agricultural Engineering
A minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10.0 or 60% aggregate is required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Prior research experience in operating and handling twin-screw extruder, rice milling, and paddy parboiling equipment.
- Knowledge of machine design, CAD software, Artificial Intelligence-Machine Learning (AI-ML) modeling, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation.
- Qualification in GATE/NET or other relevant national-level examinations will be an added advantage.
The upper age limit for applicants is 28 years.
Age relaxation is provided as follows:
- 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Female applicants.
- 3 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-creamy layer candidates).
The age limit will be calculated as on the last date for receiving applications.
Salary / Pay Scale
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of INR 37,000.00 per month. House Rent Allowance (HRA) is not specified as a separate percentage.
