Vacancy Details
NIT Silchar is looking to fill one (01) temporary post of Project Assistant.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be considered for the Project Assistant position.
Educational QualificationA 3 years Diploma in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute/university is required.
Desirable ExperienceB.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience in Electronics, Instrumentation, and Nanotechnology is desirable.
Age LimitThe age limit for the Project Assistant post is 35 years as on 09.10.2026.
Relaxation in age and qualification will be provided to SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD candidates as per Government of India Rules.
Salary and Allowances
The selected candidate will receive a monthly salary of Rs 15,000/-.
Candidates may also be eligible for House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per Project/Institute norms if accommodation is not provided by the Institute.
Selection Process
