The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released a notification for the recruitment of Officer Grade 'A' (Assistant Manager) posts. A total of 30 vacancies are available across four streams: General, Research, Actuary, and Official Language (Rajbhasha).

Vacancy Details

A total of 30 vacancies for Officer Grade 'A' (Assistant Manager) posts are distributed across the following streams:

Overall category-wise total: SC-5, ST-2, OBC-8, EWS-3, UR/GEN-12. Two posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Candidates in the OBC 'Creamy Layer' are not eligible for OBC reservation and must apply as UR/GEN.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be Indian citizens and computer literate, with knowledge of MS-Office (Word and Excel).

Candidates can apply for a maximum of two streams. A separate online application and fee are required for each stream.

All degrees/diplomas must be recognized as equivalent to a Master's Degree by the Association of Indian Universities. Candidates awaiting final results can also apply, provided they submit proof of qualification if selected.

Candidates must not be older than 30 years as on 31 July 2026. This means they must have been born on or after 1 August 1996.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
• Ex-servicemen: 5 years

Candidates eligible for multiple relaxation categories can receive cumulative age relaxation as per the notification.

The application fee is non-refundable.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 62,500-3600(4)-76,900-4050(7)-1,05,250-EB-4050(4)-1,21,450-4650(1)-1,26,100 (17 years).

Gross emoluments, including PFRDA's contribution to NPS, Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, and other allowances, are approximately Rs. 1,14,000/- per month.

Selection Process

The selection process involves three phases:

1. Phase I: On-line screening examination.
2. Phase II: On-line examination.
3. Phase III: Interview.

Candidates who clear Phase II will be intimated for the interview.
