Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements to be eligible for these posts.
Educational Qualification- Technician (SCADA) (PE):
- HSSLC
- ITI Certificate in Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic/ Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA)/ Information Communication Technology System Management (ICTSM).
- Must achieve a minimum score in the qualifying test of Mizo Language Proficiency (exemptions apply for candidates who studied Mizo in Class-X or above within Mizoram or opted for Mizo as MIL outside Mizoram).
- Basic knowledge of computer application equivalent to CCC of NIELIT or higher, with at least 80 contact hours.
- Switchboard Operator (PE):
- HSLC
- ITI Certificate in Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Wireman with a workman license or equivalent.
- Must achieve a minimum score in the qualifying test of Mizo Language Proficiency (exemptions apply as above).
- Basic knowledge of computer application equivalent to CCC of NIELIT or higher, with at least 80 contact hours.
- Electric Lineman (PE):
- HSLC
- ITI Certificate in Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/ Wireman with a workman license or equivalent.
- Must achieve a minimum score in the qualifying test of Mizo Language Proficiency (exemptions apply as above).
- Basic knowledge of computer application equivalent to CCC of NIELIT or higher, with at least 80 contact hours.
A candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 35 years of age as on the last date of application (09.10.2026).
Age relaxation will be considered as per DP&AR(GSW) OM No.A-12011/1/2019-P&AR(GSW) Dt. 3.6.2019.
