Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification

Also eligible are BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BUMS/BPT/B.Sc. in Life Sciences with an MPH (Epidemiology) or DPH (Epidemiology); OR a Master in Applied Epidemiology (MAE) plus two years of Public Health experience; OR a PhD in Clinical Sciences, Medical Science, Preventive Medicine, Human Physiology, Pathophysiology or Epidemiology.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of field experience after obtaining the essential qualification in implementing public health programmes or interventions focusing on communicable diseases.
  • Language Requirement: Must have passed a 100-mark Marathi language paper in SSC and HSC, and possess a working command of Marathi.
2. Microbiologist
  • Educational Qualification: MBBS with MD/DNB in Medical Microbiology or Lab Medicine (recognized by MCI/DNB). Or M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biomedical Sciences with a PhD in the same or related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a clinical microbiology laboratory or public health programme after obtaining the postgraduate degree/PhD.
3. Veterinary Officer
  • Educational Qualification: A postgraduate veterinary degree in Veterinary Public Health, Veterinary Epidemiology, Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Microbiology, Veterinary Preventive Medicine, or Veterinary Pathology. Must be registered with the Veterinary Council of India or a State Veterinary Council.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in Veterinary Public Health, Veterinary Epidemiology, or Animal Health, with relevant public health experience, preferably in disease surveillance and outbreak investigations.
4. Technical Assistant
  • Educational Qualification: B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) from a recognized university, or B.Sc. in Chemistry/Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology with a DMLT or BMLT. Must hold registration/renewal with the Maharashtra Paramedical Council.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a clinical microbiology laboratory. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Experience in a bacteriology laboratory is desirable.
5. Entomologist
  • Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Entomology or Zoology, preferably with a PhD in Medical Entomology.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in entomological investigations related to zoonotic diseases of public health importance during outbreaks, including zoonotic disease surveillance and plague surveillance in India.
6. Technical Officer (IT)
  • Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in IT/Computer Science (M.Tech, MBA (IT), MCA, or M.Sc. (CS/IT)). Or a graduate degree in IT/Computer Science (B.E., B.Tech, BIT, or BCA).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience after a postgraduate degree, or at least 3 years of experience after a graduate degree, in project planning and implementation of Information Technology.
7. Data Analyst
  • Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Computer Application or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university, such as M.Sc. in Statistics.
  • Experience: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and preferably in statistical software like SPSS or STATA. At least 5 years of post-postgraduate experience in data analysis.

Age Limit
