Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the specified educational qualifications and experience requirements for the posts they apply for. The cut-off date for determining eligibility is 08 October 2026.

The minimum educational qualification and post-qualification experience required for each post are detailed below:

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering AND Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum Post-Qualification Experience: 5 Years.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in the detailed design of long-span bridges (Cable-Stayed/ Suspension/Extradosed Bridges). Must have working knowledge of structural analysis and design software like MIDAS Civil/ SOFİSTİK/ LUSAS/ CSI Bridge, or equivalent.

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering AND Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum Post-Qualification Experience: 5 Years.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in the design of Railway Bridges/ROBs/RUBs etc. Must have working knowledge of structural analysis and design software like STAAD pro, MIDAS Civil or equivalent.

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum Post-Qualification Experience: 5 Years.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in the design of Metro/RRTS Stations. Must have working knowledge of structural analysis and design software like STAAD Pro, ETABS or equivalent.

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum Post-Qualification Experience: 5 Years.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 3 years in design and preparation of railway yard plan and ESP for new railway line project and/or multitracking (doubling/tripling/etc.) Railway project.

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering AND Master's Degree in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum Post-Qualification Experience: 2 Years.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 1 year in the design of Railway Bridges/ROBs/RUBs/LHS etc.

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil).
• Minimum Post-Qualification Experience: 2 Years.
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 1 year in the preparation of cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for railway bridges and other projects.

Note: The written test for all Assistant Manager posts will be conducted on the same date and time.

The experience criteria differ based on the candidate's current or previous employer:

• For candidates from Central/State Govt./PSU/Autonomous Organizations: A total of 5 years of experience is required, with at least 2 years in the IDA pay scale of Rs. 40,000-1,40,000 or CDA pay scale in Level 7 of the 7th CPC pay matrix.
• For candidates from State PSUs/Autonomous Organizations/PSBs/Public Sector Insurance Companies/Other Statutory Bodies etc. (not following IDA/CDA Pay Scale): A total of 5 years of experience is required, with at least 2 years in an equivalent pay scale to IDA pay scale of Rs. 40,000-1,40,000 or CDA pay scale in Level 7 of the 7th CPC. Equivalence will be determined by comparing the maximum basic pay.
• For candidates from Private Sector or other Organizations: A total of 5 years of experience is required, with an annual CTC of at least 16.27 LPA on the last date of application.

The experience criteria mentioned above will apply to the candidate's last/latest organization of employment.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for candidates is specified in the notification. Age relaxation is applicable for certain categories:

• OBC-NCL Category: 3 years
• SC/ST Category: 5 years
• J&K Domicile: 5 years
• Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 Years (in addition to relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL if applicable, provided the post is identified suitable for PwBDs).

RITES regular/contract employees fulfilling the eligibility criteria will get an age relaxation of 5 years over and above the upper age limit.

The pay scale for the positions is as follows:

• For posts RG/35/26 to RG/40/26: INR 50,000-1,60,000 per month.
• For posts RG/41/26 to RG/45/26: INR 40,000-1,40,000 per month.
