Note on Subject Combination: Candidates must have studied Biology / Life Science / Botany / Zoology as Hons / Main Subject in at least 03 years / 06 Semesters with the following combination of subjects for at least one year or 02 semesters of the course:

• Main Subject: Biology / Life Science
• Subsidiary Subjects: (i) Chemistry (ii) Botany / Zoology

• Main Subject: Botany
• Subsidiary Subjects: (i) Chemistry (ii) Zoology

• Main Subject: Zoology
• Subsidiary Subjects: (i) Chemistry (ii) Botany

Candidates who studied under the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the above subjects are also eligible.

• Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-2 conducted by CBSE, OR
• Passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for Secondary School conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with NCTE guidelines.

• Higher percentage of marks in higher qualifications.
• Experience of working in English Medium residential public schools.
• Achievements in NCC/ Sports / Co-curricular activities.
