Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The required educational qualifications vary by post:

• Medical Officer: MBBS degree. Experience in a residential school is desirable.
• Counsellor: Graduate/Post Graduate in Psychology with at least 50% marks OR Post Graduate in Child Development with at least 50% marks OR Graduate/Post Graduate with Diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling with at least 50% marks. Experience in counselling and relevant add-on courses are desirable.
• Riding Instructor: Matriculation. Experience in Horse Management and ability to teach horse riding are essential.
• Quarter Master: B.A./B.Com. At least 5 years of experience as UDC stores or as Quartermaster is required. Ex-servicemen (JCO with 10 years experience) are also eligible.
• Ward Boy: Matriculation or equivalent examination. Ability to converse fluently in English is essential.
• PEM/ PTI cum Matron: Matriculation or equivalent examination. Ability to converse fluently in English is essential. Proficiency in Games & Sports and a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or D.P.Ed. are desirable.
• Nursing Sister: Nursing diploma/degree. 5 years of experience or ex-serviceman of Medical Assistant trade with at least 5 years service after training is required.

Age Limit

The age limit for all posts is between 18 to 50 years as on 09 October 2026. Relaxation in age may be considered for ex-servicemen as per Government Rules.

Application Fee

Candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 250/- through a Demand Draft. Candidates from SC/ST categories are exempted from paying any application fee.

Salary / Pay Scale

The consolidated monthly pay for the contractual positions is as follows:

• Medical Officer: Rs. 40,000/- per month
• Counsellor: Rs. 39,000/- per month
• Riding Instructor: Rs. 28,000/- per month
• Quarter Master: Rs. 32,000/- per month
• Ward Boy: Rs. 28,000/- per month
• PEM/ PTI cum Matron: Rs. 28,000/- per month
• Nursing Sister: Rs. 23,000/- per month
