Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process

Nature of Job Responsibilities

The Legal Consultant will be responsible for various legal tasks, including:

• Drafting legal documents such as affidavits, MoUs, agreements, Rules, and Regulations.
• Legal vetting of documents.
• Preparing replies to notices received from various commissions.
• Providing legal opinions on matters referred by the Director and other authorities.
• Giving information on reservation policies of the Government and court decisions on employee-related matters.
• Liaising with the Institute's standing counsels who handle cases in various courts, including the CAT.
• The selected candidate will be required to visit the Institute 2-3 days a week or as and when needed.
