The Sreenarayanaguru Open University (SGOU) is inviting applications for anticipated vacancies for the posts of Section Officer and Assistant Registrar on a contract basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:

• Section Officer: A Bachelor Degree from a Recognized University. Additionally, candidates must have retired from the post of Section Officer or above in any recognized State and Central Universities, National Institutions, recognized Autonomous Educational Institutions, and Deemed Universities.
• Assistant Registrar: A Bachelor Degree from a Recognized University. Additionally, candidates must have retired from the post of Assistant Registrar or above in any recognized State and Central Universities, National Institutions, recognized Autonomous Educational Institutions, and Deemed Universities.

• Experience in ODL mode of Education.
• Proficiency in digital file processing, Office automation tools, e tendering, GeM procurement process.
• Experience in NAAC, NIRF, KIRF accreditation process.

Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.

Age Limit and Relaxation

The upper age limit for applicants should not be more than 60 years as on 01/01/2026. Usual age relaxations will be provided to SC/ST and OBC candidates as per government rules.
