TISS is looking to fill 1 to 2 posts for the Medical Officer (Part-Time) position.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Candidates must hold an MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). They also need to be registered with the NMC or a State Medical Council.

A minimum of one year of working experience in a hospital attached with a Medical College or a Corporate Hospital is required.

Post Graduate Medical Sciences qualification is desirable.

The age limit for applicants is below 65 years as of September 30, 2026.

Salary

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated salary ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month.

Application Fee

The application fee is Rs. 500/-. However, SC/ST/PWD candidates are required to pay Rs. 125/- if they attach the necessary certificate with their online application. Women applicants are exempted from paying any application fee.

The fee, once paid, is non-refundable.

Selection Process

Candidates will be informed via email to appear for a Personal Interaction at TISS, Mumbai. Merely meeting the qualifications does not guarantee an interview call, as applications may be short-listed.
