Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an MD degree in Immuno-Haematology And Blood Transfusion / Transfusion Medicine or an equivalent Post Graduate degree. All degrees must be recognized by the National Medical Commission. Selected candidates must be registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council.

Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 40 years. This limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an online application fee of Rs. 100/-. Payment can be made using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI. The application fee is non-refundable.

Salary and Emoluments

The consolidated remuneration for the Senior Resident post ranges from Rs. 1,33,623/- per month to Rs. 1,45,530/- per month, depending on experience.

A security/caution deposit of Rs. 1,33,623/- is applicable for Senior Residents. This deposit can be paid at the time of joining or deducted in five equal installments from the salary. The deposit will be refunded without interest after the completion of the Senior Residency, provided the candidate serves the required notice period.

Selection Process

The selection process may involve a Computer Based Test (MCQ) and/or an interview. An MCQ examination will be conducted only if the number of applicants is more than three times the number of advertised posts. If fewer applications are received than the vacancies, there will be no MCQ test. The Dean (Health Science) ACTREC has the discretion to decide whether an MCQ examination will be conducted.

Merely meeting the prescribed qualifications does not guarantee an applicant will be called for the MCQ or interview. TMC reserves the right to set minimum eligibility standards or cut-off marks.

How to Apply

Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the official ACTREC website. Hard copies of the application form are not required to be submitted.

Candidates working in Central/State Government or other organizations must upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their Head of Institution. They will only be allowed to appear for the MCQ/interview upon production of the original NOC.

Candidates must submit documentary evidence to support the details provided in the online application form. This includes proof of date of birth, qualifications, experience, caste, and disability certificate (if applicable), and NOC (if applicable).
