The duration for these positions is coterminous with the project.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the essential qualifications for the specific post they are applying for. Detailed information is available on the VSSUT website.

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, EEE, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• M.Sc. in Computer Science.
• M.Sc. in Electronics.
• M.Tech. in Electronics.
• M.Tech. in Computer Science.
• MCA or its relevant subject.
• Equivalent degree recognized by government institutions.

Desirable Skills (may vary by project): Knowledge of programming languages (Python/MATLAB/C/C++), experience in data analysis, machine learning, AI/ML, or experience in laboratory experiments or field data collection.

• B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 1st class.
• Desirable qualification: M.Tech in Thermal Engineering with 1st class.

For JRF:

• Postgraduate Degree selected through a process described by:
  • National Eligibility Tests (CSIR UGE NET, including lectureship and GATE).
  • National examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (e.g., DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER).

For PA (if JRF qualification is not met):

• B.Tech./ M.Tech. in EEE/ EE/ ECE/ ETC/ Instrumentation IT/ CS/ Engineering branches (with or without GATE qualified).
• M.Sc. in Electronics/ Physics (with or without NET qualified).

Preference shall be given to:

• Degree holders to M.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering with specialization in Communication Engineering/ Communication System Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering with at least 60% in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA.
• GATE qualification.
• Candidates with similar/related experience with the project.

For JRF:

• B.Tech/B.Ε. in Civil Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 (60%) or 1st class, with a valid GATE/NET score.
• M.Ε./M.Tech in Structural Engineering/Construction Technology and Management/ Construction Management/ Construction Technology with a minimum CGPA of 6.5 or 60% /1st class from a recognized Technological University.
• The candidate must be selected through a process described by:
  • National Eligibility Tests (CSIR-UGE NET, including lectureship and GATE).
  • National examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (e.g., DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER).
