Disqualifications: A person is not eligible if they are a practicing advocate, a member of any State or local authority, a member of the State Legislature or Parliament, dismissed/removed/compulsorily retired from government service for misconduct, convicted for an offence involving moral delinquency, of unsound mind, in a bigamous marriage, adjudicated as an insolvent, or a contractor/businessman interested in a government contract.
