MPPSC Assistant Professor Geography Mains Result 2026 Released

The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC), Indore has released the provisional list of candidates shortlisted for the interview for the Assistant Professor (Geography) Exam 2025. The result was announced on 24 August 2026.

This shortlist is based on the written examination that was held on 12 July 2026 in Indore.

How the Interview Shortlist Was Prepared

Following a court order regarding Other Backward Class reservation, the MPPSC has declared the result in two parts:

• Main Part: This includes 87% of the advertised posts (including 14% OBC posts).
• Provisional Part: This includes 13% of the advertised posts (OBC and unreserved category).

For the Assistant Professor (Geography) post:

• Part A (Main): 268 candidates have been shortlisted for the interview.
• Part B (Provisional): 74 candidates have been shortlisted for the interview.

Documents Required for Interview

Shortlisted candidates must send self-attested or original copies of the following documents to the Commission office:

• Brief information sheet for interview candidates (Pattrak-5)
• Copy of the online application form
• Copy of the exam admit card
• Attendance sheet (Pattrak-1)
• Personal detail form (Pattrak-2)
• Verification Form-3 (Anupramanan)
• Declaration that the candidate has not been debarred from any selection/exam
• High School and Higher Secondary mark sheets
• Mark sheets and degree certificates for all qualifying years
• UGC-NET / State Eligibility Test (SET) / Ph.D. qualifying certificate
• Teaching experience certificate (if claiming guest faculty experience)
• Madhya Pradesh domicile certificate and live registration certificate (for MP-domicile candidates)
• Caste certificate (where applicable, for reserved category)
• Creamy layer declaration (for OBC candidates, where applicable)
• EWS certificate valid for financial year 2026–2027 (where applicable)
• Affidavit for surname/name change after marriage (for female candidates, where applicable)
• No Objection Certificate from the employer (for candidates in government service)
• Disability certificate (for PH category candidates)
• Candidate's own valid photo identity proof
• Mandatory undertaking (Abhivachan Patra) confirming acceptance of their placement in either the Main Part or the Provisional Part.

How and Where to Submit Documents

Candidates must send their documents by post or submit them in person. They must reach the Commission office on or before 09 October 2026.
