The application fee is to be paid through a Demand Draft favouring 'ESI Fund Account No.1', drawn on any scheduled bank payable at Kolkata. The Demand Draft must be submitted along with the application form at the time of document verification cum walk-in interview. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
Senior Residents engaged under the Residency Scheme (Clinical and Non-clinical) will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,50,294/- per month. In addition, they will be entitled to transport allowance and Dearness Allowance (DA) on transport allowance as per relevant rules. For non-medical candidates, Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) will be deducted from the consolidated remuneration. The consolidated remuneration is subject to revision as per Government of India orders.
The selection of candidates for the Senior Resident positions will be based on a walk-in interview. In cases where the number of candidates exceeds the ratio of 1:10 per post, the competent authority may conduct a screening test to shortlist candidates for the interview. The marks obtained in the screening test will not be linked to the final selection. The performance of the candidate in the interview will be the sole criterion for selection.
