A total of 01 vacancy is available for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF).

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a B.Tech degree along with an M.Tech degree in one of the following fields:

• Food Process Engineering
• Food Engineering and Technology
• Food Technology
• Processing and Food Engineering
• Agricultural Process Engineering
• Post Harvest Engineering
• Agricultural Engineering

A minimum CGPA of 6.5 out of 10.0 or 60% aggregate is required.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Prior research experience in operating and handling twin-screw extruder, rice milling, and paddy parboiling equipment.
• Knowledge of machine design, CAD software, Artificial Intelligence-Machine Learning (AI-ML) modeling, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation.
• Qualification in GATE/NET or other relevant national-level examinations will be an added advantage.

The upper age limit for applicants is 28 years.

Age relaxation is provided as follows:

• 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Persons with Disabilities (PWD) and Female applicants.
• 3 years for Other Backward Classes (OBC) (Non-creamy layer candidates).

The age limit will be calculated as on the last date for receiving applications.

Salary / Pay Scale

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly salary of INR 37,000.00 per month. House Rent Allowance (HRA) is not specified as a separate percentage.
